Yi Yi Ren can be used in cases of diarrhea, edema in the lower limbs, urinary tract infection, prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis, muscle stiffness, cramping, spasms, arthritis, carbuncles, and intestinal abscesses. Job’s Tears are also cooked in soups, congee, or used in a refreshing cold salad. In tropical climates with damp-heat Summers, the herb is made into a refreshingly cool beverage with rock sugar and a squeeze of lime juice.
