Jue Ming Zi may be used in cases of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, photosensitivity, night blindness, loss of vision, easy tearing in the wind, dizziness, headaches, chronic constipation, and atheroschlerosis. Cassia Seeds are often made into a tea combined with rose, goji, lotus leaf and chrysanthemum. In this case, always be sure to stir-fry the jue ming zi until fragrant before using. It has also been used to make nourishing congee or even to stuff a homemade pillow offering a calming, meadow-like fragance to provide a restful night’s sleep.
